Echoes of Athens was the first Greek-American radio program in the Southeast. The first program aired in 1949 on WATL Radio in Atlanta, Georgia with its founder and Mistress of Ceremonies Ms. Vivian Economy.

Echoes of Athens success continued over 50 years through the 1990’s at which time Ms. Economy retired. It is with great honor and excitement to once again present Echoes of Athens with your current Mistress of Ceremonies, Vickie Henson.

Vickie, Vivian’s daughter, looks forward to continuing the successful legacy of Echoes of Athens as she presents news, music and various information beneficial to her Greek American audience.

Miss Vickie Henson can be your Mistress of Ceremonies at your next organization’s meeting or function. For over 20 years, she has spoken throughout Georgia on behalf of the Department of Labor and for the past several years as an emcee for local church community and fund raising projects. Miss Vickie is entertaining and fun to listen yet can carry forth your message to reach your audience with great effect. To book Vickie at your next group engagement, please contact her by email or phone.
